Why I became a sister: I joined SLG for many reasons. One being that the 5 principles of SLG are ones I strive to live my life by. I then fell in love with the Sorority because I was accepted by a group of women who were all different. Being someone who identifies with more than one race & embraces them both, I never wanted to be placed in a box. Within this sisterhood we are all a blend of different races, ethnicities, and nationalities and I felt comfortable being in the skin I'm in. I knew I didn't have to change who I was to be apart of this organization, which made SLG the perfect match for me.

Fun fact: I like to go fishing and I have 22 piercings!
